Sharbella Espresso is a laid-back café tucked into the quiet Redlynch Valley, offering a mix of undercover and open-air seating that suits both early risers and those stopping in for a casual bite. Located at the end of the Esplanade near local bike trails, it naturally attracts locals who appreciate a calm spot to regroup after a morning ride or school drop-off.

The coffee here draws a regular crowd, served thoughtfully in China pots and cups that add a touch of homey charm to the experience. It’s the kind of place where people come for a solid, well-made brew rather than flashy coffee trends. The menu, while not large, highlights simple but reliable breakfast options like the smashed avocado, which pairs well with the relaxed pace of the valley setting.

Guests often linger at the outdoor tables, soaking up the leafy surroundings and exchanging familiar nods with staff who clearly know their regulars. The atmosphere feels quietly communal—more a pause in the day than a bustling café scene. It’s particularly popular as a checkpoint for cyclists and families aiming for a convenient, friendly breakfast or snack spot.

While the menu might not cover extensive dietary preferences yet, there’s a sincere effort toward good food quality and straightforward presentation. Visitors who prefer places with a casual, slightly rustic vibe will find it suits the slower rhythm of this part of Redlynch. Early mornings and mid-mornings are the natural windows to visit—when the café hums softly with local life but avoids the heavier crowds of busier spots back toward Cairns.

A great little place to start the day. Undercover and outside, tucked in the valley. Great coffee and tea served in China pots and cups. A small but friendly place, as a local I try to visit every chance I can get

Beautiful place to have breakfast. Although the menu needs a little more love for people that needs dairy and gluten free

Really lovely cafe at the end of the Esplanade to Redlynch Valley bike ride. Beautiful people and food. We had the Sunrise Bowl and Avocado on Toast. Stop here for a half-way point on a great bike ride through the forest.

This coffee shop set at the foot of the mountains in Redlynch is a cozy shop with a country atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The food was very nice and well plated, but unfortunately I found it to be a bit on the expensive side. The coffee was very good, but I have to say the coffee takeaway cups were on the small side. The medium cup is actually a small so the value of the medium does not justify the price. But that being said, I enjoyed my experience there and will definitely come back.
